WE SURVIVED AND A FUNNY STORY

Well, as you all know, Michelle & I had our first craft booth experience! What a weekend. We had such a good time. It was great seeing all of you there. Thank you all for stopping by to say HI! We appreciate all of your support. Needless to say, Michelle & I had so much fun. For our first time, we think we did pretty good. We survived "carniville" (as Brother-in-Law, Mitch puts it). We did wrestle with our "easy up"...Why they call it easy up, who knows? It wasn't easy for the Sassies to put up! Our tent broke in 4 places! So we knew our parents were on their way and when we called them to tell them what was happening, I said, "Ganka, we have big trouble in little China." (We laughed and laughed). We thought for sure our Dad, "McGyver" could fanagle something (after a little duct tape here and there) we thought we wer back in business...about an hour after we were set up on Sunday, our tent started to lean...really lean, like if someone just looked at it, it would crumble. Michelle and I looked at eachother and thought oh, no! One of the other vendors stopped by and said, "wow, that sure is a lot of duct tape you have up there". So, I called Brent to have him rush our easy up out to Northridge. Michelle leaned on one pole, just to stabilize that "easy up" until Brent got there, which was about 15 minutes later! We laughed the whole time. I'll post some pictures of our poor tent...it was pitiful. After the new tent was put up, we were truly back in business.

We had a good experience with a steady flow of visitors. We had some invitations to some boutiques coming up soon. Check back later for pictures!

The girls are excited to give their teachers their post it gifts and Renee is so excited to get her monogrammed cards and my keys are happy sitting in the same place in my purse...as they should be!
